Nostradamus: Century X Quatrain 74

In the Last Days The Rapture of the Church is described in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible as the End Time and the last generation when the Righteous Believers in The Lord will be “Caught Up and Away” and be spared (protected) from the Tribulation to come upon the earth. This will occur in our generation as all the signs of the times indicate having been given by Yeshua (Matthew 24) and the Hebrew prophets. These Believers will be transformed and translated to be with their Bridegroom (The Lord). They will be taken to Heaven where the Marriage Supper of the Lamb of God – Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Genesis 22:8; Isaiah 53:7; John 1:29) will take place (Revelation 19:9). The believers in Yeshua will be seen appearing like shooting stars caught up in the clouds of Heaven to be with The Lord, while on earth a time of Tribulation shall commence immediately thereafter leading to a “Great Tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be” (Matthew 24:21).

Is there a way to know exactly when The Lord will return to catch away His Bride (saints) at the end of the Church Age to spare His righteous believers from the wrath that is to be poured out upon an Evil world covered in darkness and full of sinfulness? While The Lord said no one knows the day or the hour when He shall return for His Bride*, we can know the signs of the times and therefore be prepared and ready for His coming – for He will only come for those who are ready and prepared and whose hearts belong to Him.

* “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36).

Nostradamus Says So:

Before the great and terrible day of The Lord, some of the Signs of the Times will have occurred in the heavens as foretold in the Book of Joel 2:30-31 and Book of Revelation 6:12. The Blood Moons and Solar Eclipse have occurred between 2014 and 2015 on Jewish Feast Days. A rare Super Blue Moon appeared in the heavens on January 31, 2018. Other signs are described by Jesus in New Testament Matthew Chapter 24.

Did Prophet Nostradamus foresee the time of the Rapture and End Time Tribulation and link it to Daniel’s Prophecy of the Seventy Weeks in Daniel Chapter Nine? We will see the possible real connection below.

Nostradamus the sixteenth-century French physician and seer, was a man of God and student of the Holy Scriptures. His family was converted from Judaism to the Catholic faith by the time he was 9 years old. He was influenced by Jewish literature and studied Hebrew, Latin, Greek, Mathematics, Celestial Science, Astronomy and Medicine. He wrote his Prophecies in the latter part of his life. They are called “Centuries” because there are 100 verses of four-line “Quatrains” in each book of which Nostradamus intended to write 10. We shall examine his prophecy in Century X # 74 after first discussing Daniel’s Prophecy.

Daniel’s Prophecy of the Seventy Weeks of Years
Daniel 9:24-27

24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

In this prophecy, the Seventy weeks consist of 3 lesser time periods of 7 weeks + 62 weeks and then a final week of 7 totaling 70 weeks of 7 years each. Each prophetic year is 360 days in length. Together they total 490 years in all. A Biblical “week of years” refers to a time period of 7 years. The Hebrew word used by Daniel was “shabua” meaning 7. The first part of Daniel’s prophecy of the 69 weeks has already been fulfilled. 7+62 = 69.

Only an all knowing God could have given such a prophecy to Daniel foretelling the exact time the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) would ride in to Jerusalem on a donkey (Zechariah 9:9; Matthew 21:5) and appear as Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). Sixty-nine of those weeks of years has passed but the 70th week remains yet to come as a Time of Trouble on the earth (Jacob’s Trouble). Daniel and the Jewish people had been in Babylonian captivity under Divine judgment which was to last for 70 years. Daniel knew the period of their captivity was soon to expire (Jeremiah 25:11). Daniel prayed to The Lord about the future of Jerusalem and of his people (Daniel 9:3-19).The answer to his prayer contained a revelation from God of the First Coming of the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus the Savior). The name Yeshua in Hebrew translates “God’s Salvation”.

Chapter 9:24 refers to the Seventy Weeks (490 years) wherein Jerusalem and the people would finally see reconciliation for sins for their iniquity (Transgression of the Law) be completed and everlasting righteousness established. At last the Prophecy/Vision of Daniel would be fulfilled with the anointing of the Lord as King of kings. Again the meaning here is seventy 7’s are determined (cf. Stuart’s translation). The Hebrews had a “seven of years” as well as a “seven of days.” See the example given in Leviticus 25:8-9 on this point. Similarly, the Jubilee 7×7 or 7 sabbaths of years was observed and every 50th year all debts were forgiven, estates returned to their original owners and slaves were set free (Leviticus 25:8-9). In fact, Daniel was fully aware that the 70 years captivity in Babylon was punishment owing to the Jews for not keeping the divine law of the Sabbatic year which they had violated for 490 years (Seventy 7’s). Thus their punishment was to be 70 years in captivity (2 Chronicles 36:21) so the land could rest while the people were removed off of it and taken to Babylon.

Verse 25 explains from the time of the commandment to rebuild the temple that the Babylonians had destroyed and to rebuild Jerusalem until the Messiah the Prince arrived in the Holy City would be 69 weeks. This is 7 weeks (49 years) + 62 weeks (434 years) or a total of 483 years. This prophetic decree or “commandment” as Daniel referred to it took place on March 14, 445 B.C. in the twentieth year of Persian King Artaxerxes when Prophet Nehemiah petitioned the king to send him to Jerusalem to rebuild the city (Nehemiah 2:1). This is the date of the beginning of the Seventy Weeks from which the date can be calculated exactly when Yeshua > Jesus the Messiah would ride into Jerusalem on the colt of an ass and die as the Lamb of God on the Feast of Passover making Atonement for the transgressions of the people.

To understand the calculations proving Daniel’s prophecy of the exact day of the coming of the Jewish Prince (Messiah Jesus) to Jerusalem to die for the sins of the people, you may refer to “Daniel’s Prophecy of the Seventy Weeks” by Alva J. McClain and to “The Coming Prince” by Sir Robert Anderson. Both research books set forth the mathematical computations of the Hebrew Calendar determining the end of the 69 weeks of years to total 173,880 days that equal the period from March 14, 445 B.C., to April 6, 32 A.D. This marked the manifestation in Jerusalem of the Prince who would be the Prince of Peace and of Israel. According to Robert Anderson’s detailed calculations, April 6, 32 A.D., was the tenth of Nissan, the day that Yeshua rode into Jerusalem for the purpose of making an end of Sin by His Atonement on the Cross. The “peace” Yeshua brought (John 14:27) was accomplished by His sacrificial death, and the Peoples’ separation from a Holy God was done away with. All who believed upon Yeshua for His vicarious sacrifice for their sins were no longer separated from God but became One with Him – This is the true meaning of At-One-Ment and of peace. God is for you no longer against you owing to your sin which He remembers no more. Jesus explained His “peace” as “cessation of againstness” (not the absence of war). Therefore, He was the Prince of Peace in that sense of the word.

Verse 26 tells us that after the 483 years shall Messiah be cut off (die) – (Isaiah 53:8).

The Church Age

The Church Age is a lapse or gap of time of just over 2000 years between Daniel’s 69th week when Jesus died and atoned for the sins of the people and the beginning of Daniel’s prophesied 70th week when the Rapture of the Bride of Messiah takes place, the Church Age ends and the Tribulation on earth begins.

After Jesus fulfilled to the letter the prophecies of Prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah and Daniel in particular, and the hundreds of other prophecies in the Old Testament Law, Writings and Psalms about the birth, mission and First Coming of the Messiah as Savior, the Church Age began. The disciples of Jesus spread the Gospel of the New Testament in the shed Blood of Jesus as he had instructed them: “I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation to the ends of the earth” (Acts 13:47)…“and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). [Fact: The ancient name of the Mediterranean Sea was the Great Sea and also the Uttermost Sea. So the uttermost ends of the earth are northwest from Israel beyond the Sea where you find the British Isles and America across the ocean]. See also Isaiah 24:14-16, 43:6; Jeremiah 3:16-18, 16:14-15, 23:7-8, 30:7-11 for confirmation as in the last days, a remnant of the scattered tribes will return from afar off to the land of their fathers in Israel to reunite with the Jewish nation of Israel.

Jeremiah 16:14-15

“Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “that it shall no more be said, ‘The Lord lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ (15) but, ‘The Lord lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north and from all the lands where He had driven them.’ For I will bring them back into their land which I gave to their fathers.”

Jesus also reminded his disciples that there were other Hebrew tribes, namely the 10 Lost Tribes of Israel of the Northern Kingdom of the house of Israel that had been scattered abroad after the Assyrian captivity (722 B.C.). He distinguished those tribes from the Jews of the Southern Kingdom (House of Judah) to which he came in the time of the Romans. He stated very specifically,

“And other sheep have I, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” (John 10:16)

This fact is reinforced and confirmed by the admission of Caiaphas the Jewish High Priest in the time of Jesus. See the Book of John 11:49-52 where the High Priest of the Jewish tribes of Judah and Levi, spoke a prophecy:

49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, 50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. 51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; 52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

You don’t have to take my word for it but you should accept the word of Jewish prophet Isaiah who distinguished between the two nations of Israel and the Church in Isaiah 44:5. Look again at Ezekiel 37 for further confirmation of the 2 distinct nations that form the Whole House of Israel.

Isaiah 44:5

5 One shall say, I am the LORD’s; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

Isaiah was telling us here in prophecy that the One who belongs to The Lord is the Church. Another (the Southern Kingdom of the house of Judah – the Jews) shall name the nation after their father Jacob who God renamed “Israel.” Another second brother nation (the Northern Kingdom of house of Israel consisting of Joseph’s 2 sons Ephraim and Manasseh and their companion tribes) would take an oath in the house of the Lord and name himself “Israel”. The name of the Queen of England just happens to be Elizabeth which in Hebrew consists of 3 Hebrew words El = God, Sheba = Oath, and Beth = House. Her name in Hebrew means “Oath of God’s House.” The Queen took an Oath upon a Stone called “Bethel” (Jacob’s pillow stone) which sat beneath King Edward‘s chair when she was sworn in on the throne just as the other kings and queens of Israel before her. Bethel in Hebrew translates “House of God.” Jeremiah the Prophet brought that Sacred Stone of Jacob with him from Israel to Ireland and the Irish, Scottish and British monarchs were crowned atop it as was the custom in Israel from days of old to this day. Church Age To End

Why you may ask is this information important to determining the future time of the Rapture just before the Tribulation? The answer is because it sets forth the chronology in the End Times when the lost tribes of the house of Israel will be found and identified. A remnant of these northern tribes that became a multitude (Genesis 28:3; 32:12; 48:16) in the place where they were scattered will return to reunite with the Jews in the Holy Land of Israel. Then they will appoint themselves one King (Shepherd) and there will no longer be two (2) nations and two (2) kingdoms but a United Kingdom (as in the time of King David) > See Ezekiel 37:21-22.

The Shepherd King will be a descendant of David (Matthew 1:1) and also David’s Lord (Matthew 22:42-46) just as King David prophesied (Psalm 110:1). Moreover the prophet Ezekiel in Chapter 37 explained in depth and distinguished between the 2 separate and distinct divided kingdoms of Israel which together make up the Whole House of Israel. Ezekiel prophesied their reunification in the End Time pointing directly to Jesus as the Shepherd King Messiah who the reunified nations would appoint as their King of kings and Lord of lords to rule and reign as Governor of the Nations just as Isaiah had prophesied in Isaiah Chapter 9:6.

Nostradamus prophesies of the Tribulation and the Rapture and warns of a Great Slaughter.

Nostradamus gives clues and warning as to the time of the Rapture of the Church and Tribulation. America will be one of those nations affected adversely by the wrath of God as the judgment of a Holy Lord falls on a sinful nation that has turned its back on Him. Now we can begin to connect the dots and fit the pieces of this puzzle together as Isaiah instructed us in the interpretation of Bible prophecy:

“For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little” (Isaiah 28:10).

Let us carefully examine the prophecy of Nostradamus that I suggest relates directly to Daniel’s prophecy of the Seventy Weeks of Years and to the commencement of the 70th week in our generation.

Nostradamus: Century X Quatrain 74

“The year of the great seventh number accomplished, it will appear at the time of the games of slaughter, not far from the age of the great millennium, when the dead will come out of their graves.” 

When I wrote my book If You Don’t Ask You Will Never Know back in 1988 I included a Chapter on Nostradamus who many Christian theologians and prophecy scholars reject and dismiss as an occult figure. This is to their detriment and discredit because surely many of the Prophecies of Nostradamus have come to pass in amazing detail. Far from being an occultist, he was an accurate, gifted spiritual seer no doubt inspired by God in whom he believed and trusted. Writing on the 20th Century side of the coming new Millennium, I assumed the above cited prophecy would unfold before the turn of the Century. However in hindsight, examining carefully his phrases, it seems Nostradamus was looking ahead and referring to the 21st Century not far after the new millennium had begun.

Breaking down his words into connecting parts, he predicted The Year of the great seventh number (to be) accomplished (finally come), it will appear  at the time of the games of slaughter,  not far from the millennium,  when the dead will come out of their graves.

Nostradamus most certainly was referring to the 70th week (the great seventh number) and the year of Daniel’s prediction of the Rapture and Tribulation. How do we know this? First, we know that the dead will come out of their graves at the time of the Rapture for it is written in the book of 1 Thessalonians Chapter 4:16-17,

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

Thus Nostradamus linked the time of the occurrence of the Rapture which begins at the sound of the Trumpet of God, with the raising of the dead believers in The Lord from their graves. It will finally be “accomplished” when the last week of 7 years of Daniel’s prophecy kick in and the time of the Tribulation on earth begins. The righteous believers of The Lord who are alive and remain on earth will be divinely protected (Caught Up and Away) from the wrath to come as they are not appointed to go through the judgment that takes place on a sinful, wicked world.

“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.”  (1 Thessalonians 5:9)

So far we have seen Nostradamus has foretold that the Rapture will take place not far from the year 2001 (the new Millennium) just before the start of Tribulation on earth. But he adds a crucial specific detail or clue that gives us an insight into the likely time. We cannot know the day or the hour the Rapture takes place, as only Abba (The Father) knows this not even the angels, neither The Son (Mark 13:32). Nostradamus tells us that it will happen at the time of the “Games of Slaughter”.

Here we are in the beginning of the 21st Century not far from its commencement in 2001 and the 2020 Summer Olympic Games are just around the corner. They are scheduled to be held in Tokyo Japan. The dates of the 2020 Games are to be held from July 24 – August 9. Was Nostradamus perhaps keying in on this time frame as the time of a great slaughter to take place? We are surely living in troublesome times with wars and rumors of nuclear wars, historic flooding worldwide, heat waves, hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires burning out of control in the American west, Islamic terrorism raising its ugly head, drought, famines, disease (Ebola Virus, Zika Virus and flesh eating bacteria), earthquakes shaking and volcanoes erupting, economic chaos on the world horizon, Planet X also known as Nibiru possibly headed on a collision course with planet Earth and earth changes, tsunamis and a Pole Axis shift are predicted (See: Matthew 24:3-14).

North Korean Dictator Kim Jong-Un has threatened America with his growing Nuclear Arsenal and the terrorist Islamic mullah’s running Iran threaten “Death to America”.  All the while they are steadily building up their Nuclear Missile program and funding Islamic terror organizations in the Middle East and elsewhere with $Billions in money given to them by Barack Hussein Obama as part of a sinister and detrimental Nuclear Treaty Deal.

At the same time, former KGB and Russian President (Dictator) Vladimir Putin who is by far a more imminent threat to the U.S. and the World has boasted about Russia’s new and improved Nuclear Ballistic Missile capability and his military that has surpassed the U.S. in technical advances and in armaments. Putin took full advantage of Ex President Obama who during his 2 terms in office allowed the U.S. military to become antiquated and armaments and equipment to fall into disrepair over the 8 years he substantially decreased defense spending and military readiness. The Russian Bear is preparing to pounce on U.S. in a sudden surprise Nuclear attack for which America is totally unprepared. This is confirmed in the Word of God from the Prophet Ezekiel chapters 39 and 39 (the Gog-Magog War).

If the time Nostradamus was warning us about is upon us, we can expect a World Catastrophic Event of Biblical proportions soon to take place. It may be in the form of WW III,  a Mega natural disaster to strike, a massive terror attack, and/or a man-made and New World Order engineered event like a sudden economic collapse that will happen simultaneously with or close to the Rapture of the Church (Bride of Yeshua the Messiah).  If and when it happens and if America is irreparably affected, will Barack Hussein Obama reappear on the World scene and declare Martial Law using the chaos and fall out as justification to seize power and fill the power vacuum? This could be the case after a limited nuclear exchange that will cancel out both Superpowers (America and Russia) and lead to the establishment of a One World Order led by the “Beast” called the Antichrist? Only time will tell.

One thing is assured according to the Scriptures: When the restraining force of the Christian Church is removed from the earth by The Lord, Evil will break loose and fill the void.  An End Time despotic ruler, the “Man of Sin” will emerge who is indwelt by a satanic spirit. He is here now in the world. When the true Church of The Lord is removed to Heaven and gone from the Earth, this is the time the Book of 2 Thessalonians Chapter 2 instructs:

3” Let no man deceive you by any means, for that Day shall not come, unless there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sitteth as God in the temple of God, showing himself to be God. 5 Remember ye not that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth, that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now holdeth back will hold him back, until he is taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that wicked one be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming  9 even him, whose coming is according to the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 and with all the deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie, 12 that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

Now there will be scoffers in the last days according to 2 Peter Chapter 3. These doubters and Bible bashing antagonists will walk after their own lusts and be disobedient, claiming nothing has changed since the beginning of time and saying the Fathers of Israel and the Prophets have come and gone and still things remain as they always have and Jesus has still not returned as he promised.

Yet these unbelievers are ignorant of the fact that The Lord described the great flood in Noah’s day (a proven scientific fact) when the world that was perished, and by the same Word of the Lord is now kept in store and reserved unto Fire in the day of judgment against ungodly men. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, but is long suffering toward us not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

It is written: “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” (2 Peter 3:10)

Jesus had a Word for those scoffers who will believe the lies of the Man of Sin and follow after him rather than the Holy One of Israel. To them He said,

“He that honors not the Son honors not the Father which has sent Him….I say unto you, he that hears My word, and believes on Him that sent Me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death to life. Verily, verily, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.” (John 5:23-25)

“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, to the resurrection to of life; and they that have done evil, to the resurrection of damnation.” (John 5:28-29)

Jesus also spoke: “Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me. And you will not come to Me, that you might have life.” (John 5:39-40)

“For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed Me; for he wrote of Me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe My words?” (John 5:46-47)

For the scoffers, Moses wrote this concerning Yeshua (Jesus the Messiah and Son of God the Father):

Deuteronomy 18:15-19

The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto Him ye shall hearken; —

I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put My words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto My words which he shall speak in My name, I will require it of him.

The Psalmist King David in Psalm 2 wrote of Jesus:

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

We shall soon see if the prophecy of Nostradamus comes to pass as interpreted. All hinges upon the “Games” whether they are these 2020 summer Olympic Games or other games yet to come. One thing is sure and that is God’s Word which will not return to Him void but will be fulfilled to the letter. Daniel’s prophecy of the 70th Week is about come to fruition.

The Question for this age which is about to end is,

Will you Come To Me – The Lord before it is too late?

Jesus Promised:

“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him who sent me. And this is the Father’s will which has  sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:37-40)
